Why we love The Woodhouse Wollombi
Few venues are as unique as The Woodhouse Wollombi. This architecturally designed timber and steel barn sits on a private 100-acre property and is as striking as it is welcoming. It’s modern yet rustic, refined yet relaxed — a rare combination that gives couples the best of both worlds. As photographers, we love the dramatic lines of the building, the way natural light floods in through the high windows, and the sweeping paddocks that frame the property. The Woodhouse is a dream for creating modern, stylish wedding images that still feel deeply connected to nature.
About The Woodhouse
The Woodhouse is an architectural timber venue near the village of Wollombi, and every booking includes exclusive use of the whole property. It is one of the most distinctive buildings in the region.
Ceremony and reception
Receptions seat up to about 150 guests, with dinner-and-dance setups from around 60. Listings mention an 11.30 pm curfew.
Staying on site
Overnight accommodation in the Barnstay is included in the hire price. It has four bedrooms, a loft, two lounges, a large deck and a full kitchen, sleeping about 15 to 16. Ask the venue whether its planned eco suites are open for your date.
