Shepherd’s Corner is one of those boutique venues that feels personal and truly connected to the land. With rustic barns, rolling pastures, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, it’s perfect for couples who want their day to feel authentic and full of heart. We love the intimacy of this venue, where every photo feels connected to both the couple and the natural surroundings. As the sun sets across the fields, it’s one of the most magical spots for golden-hour portraits.
About Shepherd’s Corner
Shepherd’s Corner is the former All Saints Church on Clarence Town Road, Woodville, near Maitland: a heritage-listed Gothic-style sandstone chapel built in 1844, on rural grounds. It is run by Shepherds Events, and it was named the region’s top wedding chapel and ceremony location at the 2026 Wedding Industry Awards.
Ceremony and reception
The sandstone chapel is the heart of the day. For the reception there is an old timber hall (the former school hall) and a large air-conditioned marquee area, with an undercover deck and a commercial kitchen. Reports put capacity at about 150 seated or 200 standing, so confirm current numbers with the venue.
Photo spots we look for
Sandstone, Gothic windows and the chapel doors for the ceremony and family photos, then the rural grounds for relaxed portraits while guests gather on the deck. Grace & Shannon married in the chapel here.
