About Rydges Resort Hunter Valley
Rydges Resort Hunter Valley, formerly the Crowne Plaza, is on Wine Country Drive in Lovedale, about two hours north of Sydney. It is a big resort with a pool, an 18-hole golf course and more than 400 rooms and villas, so it handles large weddings and guest lists easily.
Ceremony and reception spaces
- The Gazebo and the North Lawn for outdoor ceremonies.
- The Pergola: about 350 seated.
- The Semillon Ballroom: about 560 seated.
- The Conference & Events Centre for the very largest events.
Numbers vary by setup, so ask the venue for a floor plan.
Photo spots we look for
The golf course and open grounds give long, clean views for sunset portraits, and the gazebo and pergola give a framed setting for the ceremony and family photos.
