About voco Kirkton Park
voco Kirkton Park is a hotel on a 70-acre estate on Oakey Creek Road in Pokolbin, with formal gardens, a Manor House and around 70 guest rooms. Everything is on one property, so getting ready, the ceremony, portraits and the reception can all happen without a car.
Ceremony spots
The gardens have three favourite ceremony settings: the Manor Garden, the spot known as Between the Urns, and the Back Fence lawn. Listings show each set for around 40 seated guests with a signing table. Indoor spaces cover you if the weather turns.
Receptions
Weddings are held in the function centre, which has a wraparound balcony opening onto the gardens. It suits receptions of up to about 180 guests, and the wider events centre takes larger numbers, so check which room fits your guest list.
Photo spots we look for
The rose gardens, urns and clipped hedges give the classic, symmetrical frames Kirkton Park is known for. Late in the day we head out to the back lawns and the rural views for soft golden-hour portraits. The balcony is a great spot for a quiet moment together once the reception is under way.
