Nestled in the Lovedale region, Wandin Valley Estate is a venue that offers everything couples love about the Hunter Valley in one location — vineyards, rolling green hills, and a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. The property is expansive, giving you space for a garden ceremony, sweeping vineyard views for portraits, and a reception that feels warm and welcoming. We particularly love the golden light that floods through the vines at sunset, creating breathtaking opportunities for romantic, glowing images. It’s a place where weddings feel timeless yet personal, with each corner of the estate offering a new backdrop for unforgettable photographs.
About Wandin Valley Estate
Wandin Valley Estate is a vineyard estate in Lovedale, part of the Doltone House group. It has several ceremony spots, two reception spaces and villas with a pool, so it works well for a whole weekend with your guests.
Ceremony spots
Outdoor options include the Eucalypt Grove, the Pontoon overlooking the dam, and Vineyard Hill. There is also an indoor barn styled with oak barrels and chandeliers for wet weather.
Receptions
The Cricketers Pavilion seats up to about 120 guests (around 150 cocktail style). The Pontoon also hosts receptions for up to about 120 seated. Listings set minimum numbers that differ between Fridays and Saturdays, so ask the venue for current minimums.
Photo spots we look for
The dam and pontoon give reflections at sunset, the vineyard hill gives height and long views, and the gum trees of the Eucalypt Grove give soft, natural shade for portraits in the middle of the day.
