About North Head
North Head Sanctuary is the headland at the entrance to Sydney Harbour above Manly, with heritage buildings, bushland and views back to the city. Weddings here are mainly run through Q Station and the venues in the old Barracks Precinct.
Ceremony and reception
The Headland Experience (ceremony and reception in one spot): about 80 seated or 150 cocktail.
The North Head Experience (mix-and-match locations): up to about 180 seated or 250 cocktail.
In the Barracks Precinct, the Former Sergeants’ Mess and the Milestone Events ballroom seat about 180.
Photo spots we look for
Clifftops over the ocean, sandstone and coastal heath, and the city skyline across the harbour at dusk. It is one of Sydney’s most dramatic portrait locations.
