About The Grounds
The Grounds of Alexandria is a former industrial site in inner-south Sydney, turned into gardens, a café and a set of event spaces. It is famous for its lush, styled greenery.
Ceremony and reception spaces
The Garden: outdoor, with a ceremony space, large gazebo and alfresco bar, for about 140 seated.
The Atrium: an indoor garden for about 50 to 180, depending on day or evening.
The Patio: the most intimate, for about 20 to 50.
Linseed House: up to about 380 seated with a dance floor.
The Eveleigh: the largest ballroom, for about 200 to 350 seated.
Photo spots to look for
Greenery everywhere, from vines and flowers to the garden itself. The site is busy with visitors by day, so plan portrait time with the venue.
