About the Apollo
Best Western Plus Apollo International is a hotel on the Pacific Highway at Charlestown, between Newcastle and Lake Macquarie, with around 95 rooms for guests.
Ceremony and reception
Ceremonies are held under the garden gazebo, with a bushland backdrop and a wet-weather backup. There are four event rooms, the largest taking about 100 for a banquet or 250 cocktail style.
Photo spots we look for
The gazebo and the surrounding greenery for the ceremony and family photos, and the beaches of Newcastle 15 minutes away for sunset portraits.
