Travel and early starts

Many suppliers charge travel to your venue, and hair and makeup artists often charge more for very early starts. Ask every supplier what their quote does not include.

The small line items

On the day there are small line items too. Some venues charge a cake-cutting fee. Your suppliers will need a meal. And extra hours cost extra if the night runs late.

Deposits and due dates

Finally, cash flow. Most suppliers take a deposit when you book and the balance before the wedding. Knowing the dates early means no nasty surprises in the final month.
