Why we love Kantara House
Set among lush subtropical gardens, Kantara House feels like a sanctuary of romance. Its iconic Charlotte Chapel — all-white, with soaring ceilings and arched windows — is a photographer’s dream for capturing light-filled ceremonies. Outside, the heritage gardens and rainforest boardwalks provide endless opportunities for portraits that feel whimsical and timeless. Kantara House blends elegance with intimacy, making it one of the most enchanting wedding venues on the Central Coast.
About Kantara House
Kantara House sits on 4.5 immaculate acres on the Central Coast, with its own patch of rainforest, a small vineyard and a rural paddock. Everything, from chapel to dance floor, is on one property.
Ceremony and reception
Ceremonies are held in the Charlotte Chapel in the grounds. Guests then move to canapés and the reception, for up to about 140, with a smaller event space and bar as well. There are a few rooms on site for the couple.
Photo spots we look for
The chapel, the rainforest walk and the vine rows give three very different looks within a few minutes. Charlie & Lachlan’s, Tamara & Sam’s and Madi & Corey’s weddings show all three.
