We love photographing here because the styling is impeccable — from soft natural light streaming through the guest villas to sunset portraits by the water. About Bells at Killcare
Bells at Killcare is a boutique hotel, restaurant and spa at Killcare on the Central Coast, close to the beaches of the Bouddi Peninsula. Its 25 cottages are spread across ten acres of gardens, so your guests can stay on site and the whole weekend feels like a getaway.
Ceremony and reception
Ceremonies are held in the established gardens. Receptions are in The Conservatory, for about 120 guests seated or up to 220 for cocktail style. Planning and catering are in-house, so one team looks after the day from ceremony to dessert.
Staying on site
The 25 designer cottages sleep up to about 50 guests, and children can stay in the two-bedroom cottages. That makes it easy to get ready on site, and a cottage with good window light is perfect for getting-ready photos.
Photo spots we look for
The gardens and the cottage verandahs give soft, shaded light for portraits in the middle of the day. For golden hour we head towards the coast for sunset photos by the water. Build that into your timeline, as it means a short trip off the property.
